Share Joy Challenge 19: Love You

Love You handmade valentine by Jen Shults using stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions

Hi everyone! It’s Thursday so there is a new Share Joy Challenge over at the Taylored Expressions challenge blog. Today we have a new sketch and/or Tic-Tac-Toe. I decided to use just the sketch this week – I almost made it with the Tic-Tac-Toe but I just couldn’t find a good spot for sequins. 🙂

For my card I pulled out the Marley Stamp & Die Combo. I stamped Marley on Sugar Cube cardstock and colored him with Copic markers and die cut him with the coordinating die. I kept pretty faithful to the sketch. 🙂 To start the layout I cut a piece of Sugar Cube using Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and a strip of grey diagonal stripe paper also using Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I cut a heart out of Strawberry Milkshake using Heart Stacklets. I put a little grass behind Marley using Granny Smith cardstock and the Wispy Grass border die. The sentiment panel starts with a base of Lolipop cut with Stitched Banner Stacklets and the word dies from Love Tree and Pockets & Pages February Script. The little button in the corner is three of the large round buttons from Stitched with Love stacketed together and strung with twine.
