7 Things

7, likely to be very boring and unoriginal, things as I think I’ve done this meme twice before but Timi tagged me and I’ll play along though I may break the pass it on rules, lol.

So here goes. Rule 1: post the rules…here they are…

1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Thing 1: I read. I read a lot. I get obsessive about it. I quite literally can’t put books down. The house could fall down around me, cheetos could be hurled pasted my face, hair pulled, talked too, etc and I won’t notice or hear any of it. Needless to say unless a book is amazingly good I have a designated reading time so the house doesn’t fall into complete chaos when I’m reading.

Thing 2: I hate escalators. I am deathly afraid of heights and being propelled upward or downward on a moving stair case with no walls at a rate slower than I can walk the stairs makes me ill. I especially hate those huge escalators at football and baseball stadiums that scale 3 stories at a time. I get dizzy just thinking about those.

Thing 3: I’m mostly low maintenance. Chris reminds me to get my hair cut. I hate nail polish and I keep my nails super short. I don’t particularly like make-up (but I wear it). If I could get away with it I wouldn’t own a hair dryer.

Thing 4: I actually like the elliptical machine. Well, except for the pesky fact that it makes my toes numb after about 10 minutes.

Thing 5: I’m rapidly discovering with this list that I don’t have much to say about myself that’s interesting. But tomorrow when the list is done, I’ll have thought of lots of things I could have posted.

Thing 6:  I’m obsessive about my hand writing. I’ve worked very hard to make it look a certain way. I use the word obsessive a lot.

Thing 7: I’m a closet Sci-Fi lover. I hate to admit it too loud cause then I’ll be subjected to more bad sci-fi at home. I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t grown up in love with Wesley from Star Trek the Next Generation. I wouldn’t love British accents if it weren’t for Patrick Stewart. And is there anyone born in the late 70’s that isn’t just expected to love Star Wars?

Okay done. If you want to tag yourself leave me a comment and post your answers on your blog. 😀
