A Purrfect Friend by Jen Shults for Taylored Expressions

I’m popping in to share a card I made using If Cats Could Talk Stamp & Die Combo from Taylored Expressions. This is one of my favorite Taylored Expressions stamp sets as you can customize if for so many different looks… and it’s just adorable!

I started by watercoloring the background using Distress Re-Inkers. After that I stamped the little mouse right onto the background and colored him up with Distress Markers and a waterbrush. I stamped the cat on watercolor paper also and colored her with Distress Markers also. The clouds are die cut using Build a Scene Swirly Clouds dies. To make the field of flowers I die cut the tiny flowers from Arbor Accessories out of Lemon Meringue and Potato Chip cardstock. The stems were drawn on with Distress Markers in Peeled Paint. I doodled a border around the edges and added a wood veneer heart near the sentiment and done! 🙂
