A Week of Thankfulness Day 4

With Gratitude by Jen Shults

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are having a wonderful day full of good food and wonderful family and friends! I’m continuing with my week of Thank You cards and today I’m sharing a card that I absolutely adore. This is a card from my Dirty Dozen days. It uses an image from Wax Fruit Company and paper from My Mind’s Eye. The image is colored with Copic Markers.

This card means a lot to me. It’s one I made for my Aunt and Uncle (in-law but only in title – they are the real thing for sure) when my uncle was going through a pretty scary bought with cancer (he has fully recovered now – thankfully) and I was making thank you cards for my Aunt to send out to various people that were helping the family throughout that time. I know I took the task a little more seriously than she was expecting and possibly got carried away but I think somehow I felt that the more I put into each card the more I was helping in the little way that I could. This particular card seemed to carry so much of what I was wishing for at the time – that all would be well and wonderful again for everyone in the family.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate each an every visit so much! Have a wonderful evening!
