TTIC – Collab. with Greeting Farms

This week TTIC is collaborating with The Greeting Farm to show off their Edward stamp, part of the Wild Sprout series.

I was so excited when I got this adorable stamp about two weeks ago! I couldn’t wait to dig in with some colored pencils and go to town!

Our challenge was to use this stamp and create a design, card, layout, etc. using red, black white and/or silver.

Here is what I came up with:

TTIC Greeting Farm Wild Edward Card

I finished this up super late last night so unfortunately I was left with indoor pics as my only option and I had to photograph this on it’s side so it may appear to be sliding but it’s not, lol.

Here’s a close up of the stamp:

To color Edward I used Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils, my favorites. :D

Now on to the comment portion… Margie asked us:

Why do the majority of us always reach for the same color scheme to create a Twilight project? I know that I am always reaching for my Reds, Blacks, Whites and Silvers… What colors do you always use?

Well, I definitely migrate towards black because I love it but you know when I look back through my work I actually see more pink than anything else which is a bit odd. I think I’ve used Alice as an excuse one to many times, lol.

I’ve also used a lot of brown. Brown is such a rich color and can be paired with anything so I know I reach for that any time it fits. :D

If you are interested in participating in this or any other Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge you can get the details over at the TTIC blog. We love new participants so come visit us!

  1. I’ve gotta say, my fave thing about your creation is Edward’s shadow. It’s just awesome. The whole thing is great, but the shadow really makes him come to life!
