TTIC is having a Birthday!!!

TTIC is having a birthday today and it’s blog hop time!

If you aren’t coming here from Donna’s blog and would like to start the hop at the beginning you can start here at Twilight Tuesday.

I’ve been very lucky to have been part of TTIC since pretty early in it’s history. I think I started somewhere around challenge 3 and then began to work my way up. Back then I was a jewelry designer and traditional pencil artist with a HUGE itch to do something Twilight related so when I met Tonya through TwitterMoms I asked her if I could play along even though I wasn’t a stamper and she whole heartedly said yes. So, I started with a few really rusty pencil sketches that I will NOT share cause they are bad and embarassing (I blew the rust off pretty quickly) and then moved in to making quite a bit of Twilight themed jewelry. Then the scrap bug bit and around March of 2009 I started making cards and the rest has been history. Here is a slideshow of my Flickr gallery with all my previous TTIC submissions in it, it starts with an early drawing of Alice (not Ashley Greene) and works through my jewelry and onto cards with a few pencil drawings in between. :D

Now on to my card for the hop!

This week I decided to go back and revisit the challenge for Jasper. I didn’t make a card for his challenge when I did it before, I made some jewelry so this time I wanted to make a card.

I LOVE these new My Guy Ian stamps from the Greeting Farm and this Ian is PERFECT for Jasper with his long wavy hair. So I colored him up with my Copics and tried to make him look as Jasperish as I could. I chose this paper because it had a little old school Southern feel to it and the Lighten Up sentiment just seemed to fit Jasper and his emote talent so well. :D

I don’t have my list of Copics to share, I keep forgetting to write that down, lol.

Here are the card details:

Paper: My Mind’s Eye, Bazzill, Papertrey Ink Rustic White
Stamps: The Greeting Farm My Guy Ian
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Ink Walnut Stain
Accessories: MS Lattice Punch, buttons (PTI), dimensionals

Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop. There are some hidden blog candy locations AND the TTIC scavenger hunt with some really fantastic prizes!!

The next stop on the hop is Eve!!

And I wanted to say a quick thank you to all our hop sponsors

And and even BIGGER thank you to Jacquie and Margie for all their help organizing this hop. Jacq, this would NOT have even been a possiblity without your help, I would have quite literally gone mad. And Margie, thank you so much for all your help organizing sponsors. You are both ROCK STARS!!!
