a little note
Just a little note from Alice…
I’ve been a little obsessed lately with The Greeting Farms limited edition Twilight Wild Sprout digis. This is Joyce. She is by far my favorite… and Miss E’’s too. I’ve printed a few of these out coloring book size for her and she is in LOVE. They are hanging up all over her bedroom, lol. Anyhow… I’m starting a notecard collection using all of the adorable images from this set. First up is Alice.
This image just begged for some pink so I went with it. I used my Copics to color Alice (numbers below). The card base is black Bazzill cardstock. I layered it with pink Bazzill and white PTI cardstock.
I embellished it with some black ribbon, a PTI white bow, a little DCM pink floss, a Martha Stewart edge punch and some bling. It’s not showing up too much but I also added just a bit of Diamond Stickles to her shirt to bling up her skull.
I also used my Fiskars 2 in 1 corner rounder for the first time. I love the effect but I’m not sure that punch is for me. I had a lot of trouble actually getting a rounded corner… what rounded corner punch do you use?

Your coloring of her hair is PERFECT! I struggle with black hair so much and you make it look flawless and it’s such a cute card!!! Really wonderful job.

Wowie! I love this card! Esp. her hair! Oh my goodness…it looks incredible!!! And I LOVE your idea of printing them huge so your daughter can color them in! I use an EK Success corner rounder. I like them. I use their medium size most often.

Oh I love this. The hair is awesome, how did you do that? The best corner punch I’ve used is by Stampin Up (EK Success makes it).

Your ‘Alice’ is AMAZING! Your coloring is soooo perfect – you should really do tutorials on your flawless blending & perfect highlights! Your card has a simplicity to it but w/ the perfect amt of embellishment and variety of textures. Can you tell I LOVE it!!
