It’s been a little while since I’ve had an opportunity to participate in Unity’s Friends with Flair Friday but thankfully I had some time last night and was able to whip something together.

Thinking of You

I saw this sketch on Donna’ blog last week and loved the way hers turned out so I decided I’d give it a shot. This is the first time I’ve done a Mercy Tuesday Sketch challenge but I’ve been seeing them everywhere. I may be hooked. :D

Here’s the sketch:

I copied Donna a little here by adding the ribbon. :D

I needed to make a card for a friend at work who lost a family member this week so I immediately went to my new pack of Cosmo Cricket paper… I adore this paper.  The stamps are from September 09 KOM and from the Sending my Love set and are stamped using Distress Ink in Black Soot.  I sponged all the light papers with Distress Ink in Walnut stain and then added a little white ribbon and a few Kaiser Pearls to the corners.

Oh, and I forget, I used my Martha Stewart floral edge punch on the edge of the brown card stock.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Be sure to stop over the the Unity Blog to see all the other hoppers today!
