TTIC57 – Celebrate!

It’s time for another Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge…
This week the wonderful, talented and just plain awesome Margie has selected our challenge and she want us to chose something to celebrate! Here is what she said:
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still celebrating the release of New Moon!
And with my b’day in just a few days! I’m in the mood to keep on celebrating in every way possible!
… sigh… wouldn’t it be nice to receive a handsome vampire as a gift? ;)
This week’s Challenge is to create a “Celebrating” project for the vampire-lover in your life! You can choose any holiday or event i.e. birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s, etc.
Have a ton of fun with this one!
Comment portion: There’s no denying that we all have wish lists! Especially with the holidays upon us! Some lists are a little more practical than others… What’s on your “not-so-practical” wish list??? Please share!!!
So Margie… this one is for you.

Sorry I’m running a tad late today. I put my camera away last night while it was still on and I managed to run the battery out so I couldn’t take pics early this morning.
I have had this image of sweet little Ebony aka Alice from the Greeting Farm colored for a while now and I’ve been waiting for the perfect chance to use her and this was definitely it.
I dug through my stash of papers and found this gorgeous black and floral paper and Pure Poppy PTI cardstock and got to work and everything just seemed to click. I LOVE these papers together.
This is my first easel card. They are so fun!!! I have about 4 others started now. I’m addicted I think.

This is the inside. Please excuse my embossing… I’m not very good at that yet.

For my not so practical wish list… well there are always a few things that I keep in the back of my mind, lol. I’d really like a Flip cam… I’m trying to get some tutorials together and that would be very handy. I’d also love a full set of oval and round Nesties… scallops and flat… that would be AWESOME! And maybe a Slice machine… but I don’t think I’ll be getting those anytime soon, lol.
Now be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team to see their awesome samples for this challenge! And thanks Margie for a the challenge.
Happy Birthday!!!

WOW! I love this, you know me and black and white…my fav combo!
I really need to try the Easel card, you make it look so easy and awesome!
Have you got an Embossing buddy? it’s FAB! looks like a little bean bag and you rub it on the paper before you emboss, so the powder only sticks to the VersaMark. I waited too long to get one, but now I can’t live without it.
