TTIC Color Challenge 1

Hey everyone! We are switching things up at Twilight Tuesday this week and introducing a new challenge to alternate each week with our Inspiration Challenges based on the books. The new challenge is a color challenge! For official rules read this post on TTIC.

Our first challenge is based on Edward: Alabaster, Butterscotch, and Reddish Brown:

So I have to admit that I REALLY struggled with this. I have LOADS of reddish brown in my paper stash and a lot of alabaster/off white but butterscotch threw me and it ended up being more of a topaz instead of butterscotch but I went with it…

I found this funky paper in my Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg mini deck and when I first saw it in this deck I seriously thought there was no way I would ever use it but after I had Ed from The Greeting Farm all colored up it matched really well. (On a side note, Chris thinks he looks like Leisure Suit Larry in this… and he DOES, LOL!!!)

I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch for this… can you say last minute? But it worked out perfectly. :D

  2. OME! I love it! The coloring is amazing as usual! I loved the patterned paper in the background. The embossing of the sentiment is great. Isn’t it amazing what embossing can add. It is probably one of my favorite things to do…plus I get a kick out of watching the powder change. Silly, but fun! Great work!

  3. LOL, the paper thing always happens to me too… I get a pack and say ‘ugh’ over a couple sheets but then those ones always seem to be the first to be perfect for a project, go figure! ;)
