It’s Deconstructed Sketch time again! I hope you are having a great Thursday! It’s busy busy around here this week. Can I just say that I can’t wait for soccer season to be over? This is the first sports season where we have had two kids in sports and WOWSA… it’s a LOT, lol. Whew, 2 more weeks!

Don’t forget to pick up the badge over on the side bar with code ready to copy if you are into that sort of thing and don’t forget you can follow us on Facebook and get a sneak peak at the next sketch each Wednesday!

This Week’s Sponsor:

We are sponsored this week by the FANTASTIC Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks. Tiddly Inks digital stamps range from adorable and cute to funky and dark. There is something for everyone to love at Tiddly Inks. All of the images are hand drawn by Christy Croll and are high resolution digital images. You can find Christy’s images at the Tiddly Inks store and the Tiddly Inks Basement, discount store. As our sponsor this week Christy is offering a $10 gift certificate to one lucky sketch participant!

This Week’s Sketch:

My Sample:

For my sample I use Santa’s Helper and printed him on Southworth Linen Coverstock and colored him with Copics. I die cut him with a Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle Small and sponged the inside of the die with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink which matched the PTI Kraft stock and the designer paper really well! The designer paper is Echo Park Dots and Stripes Christmas Collection which I absolutely adore. I hand wrote the “happy holidays’ across the middle stripe and added the doodling with a Sharpie Pen.

Copics:
Reds: R39, R29, R27, R24
Flesh: E000. E01, E11
Browns: E37, E37, E57
Greens: G09, G07, G14, YG06
Accents: BV00, 0

Design Team Samples:

I have a special team announcement! We have a new design team member joining us!!! Please welcome the very lovely and FABULOUS Pam Varnell to the group. I have been a huge fan of Pam’s work FOREVER and we have been on a couple of teams together before so without further chatter from me here are a few words from Pam:

Hi. My name is Pam Varnell. I am married to an amazing man that supports me 100% in all my crazy adventures, and together we have a 12 year old son that is the love of our life. I currently am a SAHM but have started school this fall, 2011, to be a Nail Technician. I do my own nails now and love to play with all the paints to see what cuteness I can come up with to put on my nails. My love for nails runs a close second to my love for card making. My love for stamping started about 6 years ago when I went to my first Stampin! Up party and evolved from there. I am so happy and thrilled to be a part of this Deconstructing Sketch team.

Please hop around and visit the rest of the design team and see what they have done with this week’s sketch and Christy’s FABULOUS images!!

Totally gorgeous Jen. Love the little extras you always put in your cards, like the lines around your main image panel. That adds so much to it. Thanks for such a warm welcome and for asking me to join all you wonderfully talented ladies. Hugs!!!
