feedburner just made my day

I love me some Google Reader. It’s just about the best thing about blogging since well, wordpress. So what did Feedburner do that made it exponentially better?

They made it so you can add a comment link in the feed. HELLS YEAH. (please excuse the ridiculous gaming lingo picked up from my husband…. I’ve got to use it where I can.) Anything that means one less click is a genius invention.

How do you do this you ask? Well if you don’t have a Feedburner account get one. Then follow the directions to burn you feed then click the Optimize tab, then the Feed Flare from the left side bar and choose comment counts as well as any other fun thing you might want to add into your feed then click activate. Viola. All your reads will love you forever and ever. Especially me. :D

Now go forth and burn some feeds.

  1. Sweet! I’m headed over to change my settings right now. Now if only they’ll make it so you can comment FROM Google reader… That would be perfection.

I wish that was a possibility but this is at least one step closer and it really does make it faster as it jumps straight to the comment form.
