Evey’s Share Day

This adorable little girl is going to be the next Leonardo DiVinci I tell you. There is not a day that she’s not up to her elbows creating something or writing or singing or something… her creativity just oozes out of her.

Evey and her rocket

Within moments of coming home today she was making plans to change that ordinary water bottle into a rocket ship for her brother, which he loves by the way.

And yesterday she made this…

Now I helped a little… very little. The template for this box came from Leigh Ann’s Perfect Presentations and it’s called Cute Carton. Evey was able to cut the entire thing out herself and glue it together with only a little help with the scoring. The only thing I did like usual was man the paper cutter. The rest… all Evey.

Halloween Candy Box

This weekend my daughter and I had some fun working on a project together. She’s a very artsy little girl already at five and always asks to make cards and play with my art supplies or card making supplies. So today we made a candy box for her Kindergarten teacher for Halloween.

This is the front. We used the 2-5-7-10 box tutorial from SCS to make the box. And then I helped her cut some squares of dp to decorate the sides and she colored some of the Wild Flower Kids halloween stamps and added some Halloween embellishment stickers .

This is the back. Last night we filled it up with candy and it’s already to give to her teacher on the 30th at their Halloween party.
