So you know how you think something and that’s just the way it is for forever. Well until you ask and discover that what was your truth was in fact false. Like when you buy a size 10 shoe for 33 years and your toes hit the front of said shoe and pinch your pinky toe because you wear a 10 and they don’t make 10 1/2′s and you CAN’T possibly wear an 11. And then you get your foot measured when you are 33 and you really wear an 11 narrow (yeah… they make that). And you just get over yourself and buy the stupid 11′s. And then you discover that tennis shoes really are comfortable and not a device of the devil and you probably could have been wearing them for the last 15 years. Hmm. How about that?

Mystery Monday with Joni

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! We had a busy busy one. I worked on making bridal shower invitations for one of my cousins along with a birthday party where I sprained my left wrist bowling… OUCH. Unfortunately I’m a lefty and I’m hunting and pecking while I’m typing this. Please forgive my spelling errors.

Today is our LAST Mystery Monday with the current design team and with CA&F. :( I’m know I said this Saturday but I’m so sad to see this term ending. These Greeting Farm stamps are AMAZING and so fun to use and Jessica and Marie are just wonderful to work with. I know I have really appreciated the chance to not only represent TGF but to also work with such amazing people. And I know this isn’t really an ending but more of a “See you later,” because we’ll all still be around.

This week we are CASING this gorgeous card from Joni Wilson. Here’s my take on it:

I opted to stamp Sweet Anya (she was a limited Edition Anya) in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and leave her uncolored (partially due to my sore wrist). I cut her out with a Nestie Circle die and sponged in the die with Vintage Linen Distress Ink. The designer paper is Hopscotch by Basic Grey. I added a bit of lace and ribbon and two Prima paper roses. Super quick and I love how it looks!

I hope you get a chance to hop around and see what the other girl have created! And to my CA&F DT pals… girls this definitely isn’t a good bye but just a see you later. You ALL have ROCKED from the very first day to the very last and I have been so very honored to be on a team with the VERY best! Xx ~Jen
