Sketch Girl 13 – Poppy

If you are looking for my Puddle Jumpers card it is just below this one here!! :D Thanks!!

For the next two weeks Wild Flower Kids is sponsoring Sketch Girls!! I’m so excited!! And for my card today I have a sneak peak at a digi that’s going to be available on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. I posted a preview sketch of Poppy a few days ago but here is a fully colored digi version of her!

Poppy Wild Flower Kids

I printed Poppy on our Epson printer and she’s about 3.75″ tall. I colored her with Copics. I’ve been using my Prismacolors a lot lately and my Copics have been looking at me with pleading eyes says “HEY! What about us??!!??” LOL!! So I pulled them out and colored her up.

I used Cosmo Cricket designer paper, Bazzil and PTI cardstock, a Martha Stewart edge punch and a bit of Tim Holts Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. Oh! I forgot I added a bit of Diamond Stickles (grrr… not friendly with the printer ink) and three Martha Stewart butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Meet Miss Emma Puddle Jumper!!

In the past two days I’ve had the great privilege to introduce to you Daisy and Noah Puddle Jumper and today I get to show of the fabulous little Emma Puddle Jumper. Emma was designed by Lori Boyd and will be exclusively available from the DieCutsRUs store on March 1, 2010. And I have to say I think Emma is my favorite. Her little bunny pet is soooo cute and she reminds me so much of my daughter… I know I’m going to use the heck out of this stamp!

Emma is made of deeply etched red rubber on a cling foam backing and he is gorgeous. I have to say these little guys are so fun to color and SO versatile!!

If you are arriving from Risa’s blog you are on the right track. If you just stopped in and you want to start at the beginning hop over to the Claudia and Co blog first!

For today’s card I decided I wanted to make a simple note card. This card is 4.5″ square. I used this gorgeous MME Be Loved paper that I have been hoarding. I colored Emma with Prismacolors again and OMS. You can’t see it well in the photo but she does have a soft blue background. I bordered her with my Martha Stewart edge punch and a little bit of ribbon and a bow with a rhinestone middle and it’s done.

Here’s a closer look at Emma:
