Make a Wish

Morning! Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in really quick to share a card I made using Birthday Emma from By Lori Designs. I pulled out my Copics for this one and colored Emma before choosing my papers… EEK. That usually leads to disaster for me but this time I worked out. I started out trying to make a clean and simple card but it got away from me a little bit, lol.

Introducing Noah Puddle Jumper! Hop Day 2!

If you are stopping by looking for my Oh, Alice! post it is just below this one!! HERE! Thanks!!

Yesterday I had the great privilege to introduce to you Daisy Puddle Jumper and today I get to show of the fabulous little Noah Puddle Jumper. Noah was designed by Lori Boyd and will be exclusively available from the DieCutsRUs store on March 1, 2010.

Noah is made of deeply etched red rubber on a cling foam backing and he is gorgeous. I have to say these little guys are so fun to color and SO versatile!!

If you are arriving from Risa’s blog you are on the right track. If you just stopped in and you want to start at the beginning hop over to the Claudia and Co blog first!

I stamped Noah on PTI white cardstock with Memento ink and colored him with Prismacolors and OMS. I used My Mind’s Eye Abbey Road designer paper and Bazzill cardstock to add the layers. I am having so much fun experimenting with my Prismacolors and backgrounds. I’m also have a lot of fun experimenting with new shadow colors besides just grey and darker versions of the base colors. I might just be hooked on my colored pencils again, lol.

Here’s a closer look at Noah:
