Recipe:
Stamps: Taylored Expressions Build a Treat
Papers: MME Stella and Rose Gertie, Kraft, white cs, grenadine Bazzill cs
Accessories: Green hand dyed seam binding, brown buttons, twine thread, foam tape, lace ribbon, glue dots

It’s my mom’s birthday today and this is the card I made for her. She’s already received it as we celebrated yesterday. I used Taylored Expressions Build a Treat stamps and paper pieced the cupcake together and layered it with foam tape. I used this week’s Mojo Monday sketch as the layout, altered just slightly. :)

BLD Spotlight – Beach Boy Cole

It’s time for another By Lori Designs Spotlight post! This time we are featuring Beach Boy Cole. You can find Cole here.

For my card I colored Cole using Copics on more of the Southworth Linen Coverstock I mentioned in my previous post and I started with this week’s Mojo Monday sketch as my layout but I ended up adding more designer paper than the sketch called for… but the sketch is still pretty much there. Mostly. ;) I used My Mind’s Eye Lime Twist Fly a Kite paper again… it’s so bright and gorgeous and perfect for little boys that I just love it.
