How did it get to be Wednesday already? Seriously? HOW? LOL!! I have been a busy bee this week with work and kids and this and that. But somewhere in all that’s been going on I found time to color this gorgeous angel from Mo’s Digital Pencil called Ragged Angel. Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous?
I printed her out on Southworth Linen Coverstock and colored her with Copics. The paper is from My Mind’s Eye Stella and Rose Mabel collection. It’s completely possible that I’ve been hoarding this paper because I adore the colors. I tried to give everything a nice shabby feel by sponging and distressing the edges and using a bit of seam binding died to match the sponging with Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy Distress Stain. I added a bit of doodling to the edges and it’s all finished up.
Our theme at Flutterby this week is friendship and I hope this works for that. I didn’t have a sentiment that fit with what I was trying to do with the card and the size of the image, lol. I printed her a bit huge. But I’m hoping the point comes across with the image alone.
