Robot Birthday

This weekend a friend’s son had a birthday and he’s very into robots, trains and all things boy. We had a good time celebrating at the pumpkin patch (which was an awesome and unique idea for a party) and we brought along this card for him.

I love these fun stamps from Recollections. I used my trusty Jen Wilson paper from My Mind’s Eye and my copics to put this together.

Here are the details:

Stamps: Recollections
Ink: Memento black and Distress Ink Walnut
Paper: Jen Wilson by My Mind’s Eye, Bazzill and PTI Rustic White
Accessories: Recollections brads, Copic Markers (C1, C2, C3, C5 and 0)

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Mom, I don’t know what we’d do without you. Whenever I’m in a pinch you are always there to help out and you can’t possibly know how much I appreciate it. I hope you are having a fantastic day. :D

Now, stop looking at the computer because this is our card and I don’t want you to see it yet. ;)

This is mom’s birthday card. For this I used PTI cardstock and stamped the pink with versamark and the yellow with Memento desert sand ink using some Inkadinkadoo acrylic swirl stamps. The birthday cake is colored with Copics, it bled a lot on the PTI rustic white so it’a little wonky looking. But I really enjoyed stamping my own paper for this, it was fun and turned out a lot better than I anticipated. :D

Card Details:

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo, Recollecitons, Hampton Arts
Ink: Versamark, Memento Rich Cocoa and Dessert Sand, Distress Ink Walnut Stain
Paper: Papertrey Ink
Accessories: MS Lattice Punch, Copic Markers
