Deconstructed Sketch No. 138

Deconstructed Sketch 138

Sketch Guidelines:

Are you ready for Deconstructed Sketch 138? I hope you like it! Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

1. Use the sketch up top to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like. Use the sketch to inspire your own creativity. Feel free to substitute shapes for what you have available and mount tags and circles to a card base if you’d prefer.

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your blog, SCS, Flickr, etc). Use keyword DS138 if you post to an online gallery like Splitcoaststampers.

3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so we can see your project. :)

4. There is no time limit to enter this week so please join us if you can!

Best Year Ever by Jen Shults

My card for today uses Birthday Sentiments from MFT. I really adore this stamp set. It’s so versatile and I just adore the wonderful sentiments. I also used MFT’s Color Palette Challenge which this month is just fantastic – goodness knows I can’t let a challenge that has krafts as one of the colors slip by! The background diagonal panels are stamped with More Washi Tape Patterns and die cut with Washi Tape Die-namics. The flower is die cut with the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose. I used Kraft, Lemon Drop, Blu Raspberry, and Smooth White cardstock. The button is from MFT’s Sweet Tooth Button collection.

    Hi Jen,
this is my 1st time trying to link up for your challenge and I’m not sure what I did wrong that my card doesn’t show up in the thumbnail spot. Sorry. If you click on the blank image you do get to my page. It was there before I hit “Done” on the link up page. Any ideas what I did wrong? Thanks for any help you can give. Lisa W
