Hello Friend by Jen Shults using DS157 and stamps and dies from Verve Stamps

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoy this week’s sketch!! I know I had a ton of fun making this card and I think I have found my most perfect color combination – yellow, dark gray, lime green and coral – YUM! I’m sure you’ll be seeing it again soon. 🙂

DS157-Jen2

I started with a white cardbase using Smooth White from MFT and layered it with a piece of Steel Gray from MFT. I layered that with a bit of yellow floral paper from Doodlebug’s Kraft In Color paper pad. The sentiment is Hello Friend Plain Jane from Verve die cut with the Banner Bundle Die set, also from Verve. The flowers are from the Be Blessed stamp set from Verve and are stamps using Lemon Drop ink from MFT. My ink pad was very very juicy so I ended up stamping off the flowers once on a piece of scrap cardstock. It gave a bit of a texture to the stamping that I like a lot. The leaves are cut using the Dreamy Leaves die from Verve and were cut out of Doodlebug’s Kraft In Color paper pad. The enamel dots are from Doodlebug also.
