Deconstructed Sketch No. 164

Are you ready for Deconstructed Sketch 164? I hope you like it! Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

1. Use the sketch up top to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like. Use the sketch to inspire your own creativity. Feel free to substitute shapes for what you have available and mount tags and circles to a card base if you’d prefer.

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your personal blog, SplitcoaststampersFlickrPinterest, etc). Use keyword DS164.

3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so we can see your project. :)

4. There is no time limit to enter this week so please join us if you can!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great Thursday! Today is the second day of back to school teacher meetings for me. My own kiddos start back next Wednesday along with the students that I teach. When do your kids go back?

Alright on to my card… today I used a bunch of super cute dies from Taylored Expressions. I started with the thanks die from Shades of Thanks and die cut it three times and layered them to add extra dimension. From there I got to work with some patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Kraft in Color Kraft 6×6 paper pad. The flower is made from Patio Party, the button from Stitched with Love and the branches from Banner, Branches and Bloom. The little tab at the bottom is from Simple Tabs. The banners in the background are from Banner Stacklets 1.
