Hi everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day! This week’s sketch is sponsored by one of my most favorite stamp companies – Taylored Expressions, to help celebrate my birthday which also just happens to be today. One lucky sketch participant will win a $25.00 gift certificate to the Taylored Expressions store. All you need to do is create something with this weeks sketch and link up below by September 10, 2014 at 10 pm CST! That’s it! The winner will be announced Friday, September 12, 2014.

My card this week uses some of my favorite TE dies – Shades of Thanks and a collection of coordinating flower and branch dies (listed below). I started with a kraft card base and layered it with dark brown and more kraft. Over that I used a bit of heart paper from Pebble’s Seen and Noted paper pad (that I’ve been hoarding). I die cut the thanks die three times out of aqua cardstock and layered them together to give it a chip board look. To great the flower embellishment I die cut the large and medium sized flowers out of red cardstock and layered them with foam tape between the layers. I die cut two the of the branches and trimmed them to different sizes and added on behind the larges flower and one in between the two flowers. Next I added a twine bow with a button on top. To finish off I added three green Sprinkles and it was done. This was a SUPER fun and quick card to put together.
