Deconstructed Sketch No. 168

Are you ready for Deconstructed Sketch 168? I hope you like it! Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

1. Use the sketch up top to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like. Use the sketch to inspire your own creativity. Feel free to substitute shapes for what you have available and mount tags and circles to a card base if you’d prefer.

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your personal blog, SplitcoaststampersFlickrPinterest, etc). Use keyword DS168.

3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post. :)

Thanks for being awesome by Jen Shults, Stamps and dies from Verve Stamps

I hope you all like this week’s sketch and it didn’t throw you for a loop. I was thinking about creating a clean and simple sketch that included a little bit of trendy technique so I added in the diagonals thinking they could be applied as modeling paste, washi tape, sponging, spritzing, watercoloring or stenciling – or anything you think up that I didn’t. 🙂

I used Better Together from Verve Stamps and kept things very simple. The stenciling I did in the background is made using a zig zag stencil from Heidi Swapp that I found at Michael’s.
