Hi everyone. It’s with a very heavy heart that I bring the news that this will be the last Deconstructed Sketch. This was a very tough decision for me as I LOVE making these sketches. They area great push for me to be creative and I love that other’s find them helpful in their own creations. I still love making sketches and may very well find my way back to the Deconstructed Sketch some time in the future but right now it’s sadly time for me to make room for new things coming down the road. One of the very hardest parts of closing up is saying goodbye to my amazing design team. They have been one of the best groups of ladies I have ever had the privilege to work with. Some of them have been here since the very first sketch and that just blows my mind. I’m starting to get a little bit teary so it’s time to talk about the happenings for our last sketch. Here are the details (Note: There are PRIZES!!!):

Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your personal blog, Splitcoaststampers, Flickr, Pinterest, etc). Use keyword DS204.
3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post by June 24, 2015 at 8 pm CST!
4. One randomly chosen participant will win a $50 Simon Says Stamp gift certificate.
5. The sketch champion and prize winner will be announced June 25, 2015.
For my card I used Cheeky Geeky from The Greeting Farm and colored her with Copic Markers on Canson 150 lb Illustration Paper. I decided to try out this new paper for coloring with Copics and I really like it. It’s VERY sturdy and blends almost effortlessly. The paper also has a little bit of texture which gives a different looks. The patterned papers in my card are from Doodlebug’s Back to School paper pad.
Yay! I’m finally using one of the images I colored from Kathy’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge #2. I’ve got quite a few stacked up now and need to get on making more cards!
Card Details:
Stamps: Cheeky Geeky (The Greeting Farm)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Paper: Fanboy Illustration (Canson), Back to School (Doodlebug), Toffee, Sugar Cube (Taylored Expressions)
Accessories: Heart Stackets (TE), Label Stacklets 6 (TE), Build a Tag 2 (TE), foam squares (Scrapbook Adhesives), Quick Dry Adhesive (3M), ribbon, glue dots (Zots), Bow Easy

I will be leaving all of the old sketches on Flickr so you can find them in the Deconstructed Sketchbook. Now it’s time to hop around and see what everyone else on the DT has been up to and leave them a little love.

Hi Jen! Just when I asked you about more sketch PDF’s. I sure hope that I was not the straw that broke the camel’s back??? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your sketches and find them extremely inspirational. Maybe you can consider grouping all of them into PDF and selling them as a downloadable link…I would buy it!

Hi, Jen
I am sad to read that the Deconstructed Sketch challenge is coming to an end, as your sketches were some of the best out there and my favorites to work with, but I’d like to thank you for the inspiration you’ve provided and all of your time and efforts. I’ll keep referring to your past sketches to design my cards. I’ve quite a few left to play with 🙂
Take care!
Cindy
