Deconstructed Sketch No. 101

Deconstructed Sketch 101

Sketch Guidelines:

Are you ready for Deconstructed Sketch 101? I hope you like it! Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

1. Use the sketch up top to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like. Use the sketch to inspire your own creativity. Feel free to substitute shapes for what you have available and mount tags and circles to a card base if you’d prefer.

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your blog, SCS, Flickr, etc). Use keyword DS101 if you post to an online gallery like Splitcoaststampers.

3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post so I can stop by and see it.

4. Check back here next week to see if you are one of this week’s favorites and grab a badge for your blog.

***Winners from the DS100 hop and sketch challenge will be announced at 10 am CST***

For my card I attempted a clean and simple card. I started with the AMAZING Take Note stamp set from Verve and the aptly named Doodlebug 6×6 Take Note paper pad. I really love the bold colors and fun prints in that paper pad. The sentiment is a combo of two stamps in the set that I die cut with Spellbinders circles and matted with Spellbinder Scalloped circles. The banners behind the circle are die cut using the Banner Bundle die set. The two little hearts are also from the Take Note stamp set and are so sweet! The stitching is drawn with a Sharpie Pen. That’s it!
