Deconstructed Sketch No. 188

Welcome to another addition of the Deconstructed Sketch as well as Day FIVE of SEVEN days of LOVE!! This has been such a fun week of sharing LOVE themed cards and I have one today that I REALLY like! I hope you will too. 🙂

Deconstructed Sketch 188

Morning! Are you ready for Deconstructed Sketch 188? I hope you like it! Here’s the scoop on what you need to do:

1. Use the sketch up top to make a project, any kind you like using any image you like. Use the sketch to inspire your own creativity. Feel free to substitute shapes for what you have available and mount tags and circles to a card base if you’d prefer.

2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your personal blog, SplitcoaststampersFlickrPinterest, etc). Use keyword DS187.

3. Link back here to Inlinkz at the bottom of the post.

Here’s my take on the sketch.

You Are Loved by Jen Shults, handmade card #deconstructedsketch

As you can see I flipped the sketch from left to right to fit the way the words work in the You are Loved die. 🙂 That’s completely legal at all times! I have wanted to use this You Are Loved Die for a while now but hadn’t found the right layout until now. I paired this up with a few hearts and gorgeous Prima flower and it all just came together. I did spend about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to throw in some patterned paper but ended up scrapping it and going back to all cardstock which seems to be my staple lately. 🙂
