2. Post it somewhere on the internet (your personal blog, SplitcoaststampersFlickrPinterest, etc). Use keyword DS174.

Deck The Halls by Jen Shults

Today I’m sharing a quick card I made using this week sketch for Christmas. I am woefully behind on building my Christmas card stash so I’m going to be hitting that hard and heavy over the next few weeks. This card went together super quick though so I LOVE that.

I started with a Green Apple card base and layered it with a bit of patterned paper from Taylored Expressions Gingerbread Lane paper pad and Cherry Pop cardstock matted with Sugar Cube cardstock. Over this I cut a banner from more Gingerbread Lane paper using Banner Stacklets 1. The sentiment is also cut with Banner Stacklets 1 and stamped with a sentiment from Sing of the Season. I die cut a bow out of Marshmallow felt using Mix and Match Bows and layered it with holly cut with the Little Bits Holly die.

I had a little mishap with my stitching – I didn’t have my contacts in when I stitched the little green scallop on and positioned it wrong in my machine (sad face) and didn’t have enough diagonal stripe paper left to redo that piece so we’ll pretend my stitching there is intentional. 🙂
