Farm Fresh Friday – Buttons

FFFbuttonsJen2This week over at the Greeting Farm blog Kim has given us a fabulous challenge to use three buttons on our project this week.

For my card I used Maggie Cleaning digi and colored her with Copics. I matched her up to my October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper and got to work. I didn’t use a sketch for this one, I just sort of made it up as I sent. After I colored the image I sponged it with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and then used a ruler and a Prismacolor multiliner marker to draw two border lines inside the edges of the image. The framing paper is punched with a Martha Stewart Scallop with Two Holes edge punch. I added 3 buttons (not sure where they are from), a Prima flower and the sentiment that I cut out with a Nestibilities die and sponged with more Worn Lipstick ink.
