Farm Fresh Sketch

This week over at the Greeting Farm blog Mercy has given us a fabulous sketch to work this! You are going to LOVE it.

For my card I used cute little Harold eating a little toast and jam. Isn’t he the cutest! I love this little guy. 😀 I colored him with Copics to match the Thrift Shop paper by October Afternoon. I cut him out with a Nestie’s label and sponged the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch for the strip of loops and a Spellbinders flower for a little accent. To add the stitching I pierced the paper first and then connected the dots with a white gel pen because well lets face it… I’m afraid of my sewing machine and this way I know the stitches will be mostly straight, lol. The last couple of finishing details are a couple of Dew Drops, a yellow Prima flower and the sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie’s everyday sentiments.

Here’s a closer look at cute little Harold.

And here’s a peak at Mercy’s sketch. I flipped it left to right so Harold was not facing off the card.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Critter Crew and Farmers are up to this week! If you’d like to play along you can get full details over at the Greeting Farm Blog!
