Glitter and Lace

It’s Wednesday… time for another Wild Flower Wednesday. 😀 I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I know time is flying by too fast. I have about 2.5 weeks left before I head back to work for the new school year. The kids and I are cramming as much fun into these last few weeks as we can. I’ve been finishing a few last minute projects as well… cleaning out my card making supplies, ahem. It’s really well overdue, lol. I found a few things I forgot I had and got everything all organized. It’s so nice to know where all my punches are. 😀 Alright on to the challenge!

This week our challenge is to use lace and sparkle. For my layout I used this weeks Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) by Jen del Muro.

Here’s my card. I used the Amaryllis and colored her with Copics. I colored her to match some gorgeous BoBunny paper. I added sparkle by coloring over her wings and jewelry with a Versamark Pen and then embossing it with Kaleidoscope Stampendous embossing powder. It turned out really nice, it has a really nice rainbow/iridescent finish but still shows the shading underneath.

If you’d like to participate with us this week all you need to do is create a card using Lace and Sparkle (WFP images are optional but appreciated) and upload a direct link to the Wild Flower Patch Blog.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team… they have some fantastic project this week!
