Joy

Joy, handmade card by Jen Shults

Hi everyone! I have a very quick Christmas card to share with you today. This card was VERY fast to make and very fun (and messy). I used Color Burst powders to create the background. I started by spritzing the paper with water and then I lightly sprinkled Alizarin Crimson Color Burst powder on the right side of the watercolor paper. Next I lightly sprinkled on Pthalo Green Color Burst powder and I tried to keep the two colors separate as much as possible as I was sprinkling them. Next I spritzed the paper again with water and then set it aside to let it dry.

Next I die cut the Joy Script die from Cherry Pop cardstock. I stamped the holly from Holiday Florals on Sugar Cube cardstock with Cherry Pop and Peapod ink. I arranged the script die and the holly and attached them to the dry watercolored background with liquid adhesive and foam tape. To finish off I added a few sequins from the Snow Flurries sequin mix for some sparkle. I attached everything to a Sugar Cube cardbase and was done.

That’s it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
