Owly Christmas

Owly Christmas - handmade card and ornament

I’ve got another Dirty Dozen project to share with you today. This time I made a fun little Christmas set using The Greeting Farm’s retired Hoo Loves You stamp set. I also made a little felt owl ornament to go with it for a co-worker who loves owls. 🙂 Last Christmas I was on a tear to make felt Christmas ornaments. I just love how they look and they are so fun to make. This year I think I’m going to enlist the help of my 8 year old to help me make a few more. She’s going to LOVE it. Here’s where you can get the pattern for the owl. I also have a TON more pinned here.

I stamped the owl with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White cardstock and colored it with Copics. The background is MME’s Lost and Found Christmas. I distressed each paper with a Tonic Distress Tool and sponged it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. To finish it off I added a bit of Bronze Viva Decor dots around the outside of the circle panel. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Woodland Winter.
