Pixie Dust Challenge #71

JenApril21PDS1

It’s time for the Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge and this week our challenge is to Spring Forward – create a spring or Easter card using pastel colors. This was a bit of a challenge for me because I don’t use truly pastel colors all that often but I really like how it came out. I used the February Pixie of the Month and colored her with Prismacolors and OMS. I used some gorgeous My Mind’s Eye Quite Contrary paper. I cut Pixie out with a round Nestabilitie and sponged inside the die with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and then used a white gel pen to faux stitch inside the die cut. I added a layer of pink cut from a Scalloped Circle Nestie. I cut the sentiment panel with the same dies as the image panel and sponged inside the die again with Spun Sugar. I added a few final details with a Arched Scallops Edger Punch from EK Success, a bow using a Bow Easy and some white Dew Drops.
