Welcome to our September 2013 Spotlight Hops! We’re so excited to share some new Verve with you! Each day this week, the Divas will be shining their Verve spotlights on a different set, so stay tuned for a week filled with inspiration! Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 9/27.
Today I’m sharing the super fun Rain or Shine stamp set. I am so happy with how this card came out. I started with the sentiment and stamped it on white cardstock with black in and overlayed the umbrella and colored it with Copic Markers. I then stamped the rain drops in light blue ink. The rest of the layout went together super simple. I embossed the background panel using the Quatrefoil embossing folder from Paper Studio and used the debossed side instead of the embossed side. The brown ribbon is part of Verve’s Signature Ribbon Collection. The patterned paper is from All About a Boy by Echo Park and the dots are MME Epoxy Dots. 🙂
