Simply Betty Blog Hop!

I have two posts today! Scroll down for my Burtonesque Dolls post. 😀

The day is finally here! It’s release day for Simply Betty Stamps and to celebrate we are having a blog hop! If you are just stopping by to visit and you’d like to start the hop from the beginning please head to Alicia’s blog. If you are already on the hop then you should have just come from the fabulous Debbie.

I’m so happy to be able to share with you some sneak peaks at some wonderful new stamps that are available for order now from a brand new stamp company by Betty Roberts called Simply Betty Stamps. Betty has put together a line of gorgeous funky stamps called “My Kids Emo World” and they are amazing. All of Betty’s stamps are made from premium deeply etched red rubber and are mounted on cling foam. Simply Betty stamps also come pre-trimmed so you don’t have to worry about trimming them, just slap them on an acrylic blog and go.

For my sample today I’m using Betty. Betty  is made from deeply etched pre-trimmed red rubber on cling foam. She stamps beautifully and isn’t she just soooo cool and funky?

To start my card I started with this week’s SFYTT from Jen del Muro. I used a lot of bright pink and green to put the card together. The paper is from Basic Grey’s Green at Heart along with a little bit of Doodle Bug Designs Skullies paper (LOVE that stuff). I cut Betty out and then popped her up on Pot Dots and cut the border using a Martha Stewart edge punch… I can’t remember the name but it’s a new one. I added a Prima flower with a DoodleBug Skullies brad as the center. I finished it up with some faux stitching around the edges and done! Here’s a closer look:

Now I need to qualify this photo… I don’t know why her hair photographed so choppy but in real life it blends together better. 😀

Now before you move on to the rest of the hop be sure to leave a comment at every stop and at the Simply Betty Blog so you can be entered into a drawing to win all SIX of the stamps in the My Kids Emo World line by Simply Betty.

Your next stop on the hop is the uber fabulous Kristy Young!
