It’s day three of Taylored Expressions April Release sneak peeks and today we have some VERY special projects for you! First up I am using When Your Heart Speaks and A Life She Loved. These new sets are from a brand new illustrator to Taylored Expressions, BreAnne Andrews. These new stamps are SO fun to color, I love the detail and line quality to her illustrations!
I just had to use Stroke of Genius to fill in the canvas!! I used the two tiny little blotches with lots of Memento ink to fill it in. I used the new Spotted Cutting Plate to emboss the background kraft panel. To do this I used the following sandwich in my Big Shot: Multipurpose Platform on tab 1, plastic cutting plate, Spotted Cutting Plate die side up, cardstock, Spellbinders embossing mat, plastic cutting plate.
My second project is a wall hanging I made using the super fun Wood Pallet wall hanging available in the TE Store. I painted it with white acrylic paint thinned with water so it has a white washed look. I added black paper for a chalkboard look and then die cut the word CREATE using the Chunky Alpha. Under that I stamped a sentiment from A Life She Loved. The clusters of flowers in the corner are a combination of Cherish Every Moment, Friendship Blooms Dies, Bloom Where You Are Planted Dies, Mini Leaves dies, All A Flutter Overlay dies and Silhouette Stems 4.
Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Adore the colours in the first card and that easel with the w/c all over it is fabulous 🙂 Lovely use of the flowers to embellish on the second.
Love your framed piece – so nice. Really love the easel in your card – so many possibilities!
I love the easel and the sentiment — just love that sentiment !
Such beautiful projects! I love how you filled the canvas ~ so creative!
I love the easel and sentiment on your first card.

Jen, I love both, but the first is my favorite. But … what I really liked was your comment about the “line quality” of the new illustrations. This is actually something I look for when purchasing. I can’t wait to see this release in full.
