It’s Day 1 of Petite-a-Palooza, the December Release at Taylored Expressions and today I’m featuring two brand new Petite stamp sets, Oh Happy Day and Joe To Go! Both of these fun little stamp sets will be available for purchase on THURSDAY! And you won’t want to miss our release party and full stamp set reveals on Facebook on Wednesday at 6 PM PST. 🙂
First up is Oh Happy Day! I decided that these little flowers were perfect for some really quick and simple notecards. I started by die cutting the note cards using Choice Kraft Cardstock and then I stamped the border from Valentine Doodles using Memento Espresso Truffle. Once this was all done the flowers were stamped on Choice Snow White and colored with Copic Markers. I then die cut them using their coordinating dies. I used the dies to also emboss the notecards so the flowers have a little border around them. The flowers were then glued to the notecards and the inside was stamped with Thank You So Much, one of the sentiments from the set. 🙂
Next I got to work with Joe to Go. This set is so adorable and I LOVE that the coordinating dies can be used alone or with the stamps. So FUN!
For this card I primarily used just the dies for the the cup of Joe and colored the die cut pieces with Copics to add a little dimension. I layered these together on a card using Mojo300 as my layout and Choice Kraft along with We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard papers. (LOVE THOSE PAPERS!!) The sentiment is from the Joe to Go stamp set and the flowers are from the Friendship Blooms Die set and Mini Leaves dies.

Fabulous, Jen! Love your sweet notecards – the embossing adds a really nice touch (I need to try that some time)! And your coffee cup card is just the sweetest!
