Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks: At The Cross 1 die and Cala Lily Bouquet

It’s time for day two of Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks! Today I am sharing two projects using three gorgeous new products!! First up is the new Cala Lily Bouquet die. This die coordinated with the previously released Cala Lily Bouquet stamp set. I paired this stamp and die with the brand new Walking On Sunshine Embossing Folder.

Easter Greetings by Jen Shults, handmade card

To start this card I cut a cardbase out of Sugar Cube cardstock. I then cut a slightly smaller piece of Sugar Cube that I sponged with Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create a subtle gradient across the whole piece of cardstock. I embossed this piece with the Walking On Sunshine Embossing Folder. Over this I layered a piece of vellum that was cut using Label Stacklets 6. Over this I layered the Cala Lily Bouquet cut out colored with Copic Markers. I used a bit of Burlap Twine around the vase and stamped the sentiment from the Cala Lily Bouquet stamp set on Toffee and die cut it with one of the Designer Mini Tags dies.

My second card pairs the new At The Cross 1 dies with the previously release Ray of Sunshine Cutting Plate.

To start this card I cut a Sugar Cube cardbase and then cut five different cuts with the Ray of Sunshine cutting plate, one out of Sugar Cube, Lemon Meringue, Granny Smith, Sprinkles, and Plum Punch. I then used different pieces of each to create the background panel. ***Tip – this is an easy way to make a card set – Use all of the cutouts, arranged slightly differently to create 4 different cards.

After creating the background panel I cut a piece of vellum with the Label Stacklets 5 dies. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube with the dies also, layering them to create a frame. I glued the vellum to the back of the frame and then carefully cut small strips of foam tape to hide behind the frame so it would be popped up off the background panel. I cut the At The Cross 1 die one time out of Sugar Cube and attached it to the vellum.
