Taylored Expressions Holiday HOOPLA!!!
Taylored Expressions is hosting a Holiday Hoopla today and I’m excited to be a part of it. You should have arrived here from Jami Sibley’s blog. The set I’m showcasing is Glad Tidings and I love it because it’s such a different cute take on a traditional Christmas Nativity scene and the sentiments are wonderful!
For my sample I started by stamping Mary and Joseph onto Choice Snow White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Copics to match this gorgeous MME Lost and Found Christmas paper that I have just been itching to use since I very first saw it. I die cut the image using the round scalloped die from TE Totally Tags Dies and I sponged around the edges with brown ink. Behind that I die cut some patterned paper using TE’s Take Note Die 3. Above that I cut some lace ribbon and hand died seam binding to make a bow and punched a border using EK Success Deco Scalloped border punch. To finish off the bow I added a bit of twine and a button.

Creating for this hop caused to me to go back and look at some of my previous creations and I wanted to share two of those with you today too. For these projects I used Penguin Pals. This was one of the first sets I bought from Taylor and I LOVE it. It’s very very versatile and makes for some easy Christmas card creations!
