Taylored Expressions June Release Day: Zinnia Bouquet and Lattice Cutting Plate

It’s finally here! It’s RELEASE DAY! You can find all of the new stamps and dies that we have been previewing this week over at Taylored Expressions!

Today I’m using the Zinnia Bouquet with the Lattice Cutting Plate. The Zinnia Bouquet is one of my favorite stamps at Taylored Expressions. It’s been around for a bit but has a bit of newness to it as Taylor has added a new custom die for it.

For my card I started by stamping the bouquet on watercolor paper and then I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then watercolored the images with Distress Markers and a waterbrush. I kept my watercoloring pretty loose – not stressing about getting outside the lines and layering up to get nice rich colors. I die cut the image with Label Stacklets 6 and then mounted it on a simple background made of a cut from the Lattice Cutting Plate layered on a kraft background with a bit of red polka dot paper. I finished it off with twine and the sentiment cut out with Designer Mini Tags.
