Christmas package tags by Jen Shults

I have two projects to share with you today. The first is a quick set of tags I made using the super adorable new Build a Tag die set and Small Packages stamp set. The second project is a quick card I made using You’ve Got Mail – Fall.

The Build a Tag die set comes with 6 coordinating dies that are perfect for quickly building gift tags (or any other type). I started by die cutting the tag base that’s included out of Sugar Cube, Cherry Pop and Toffee cardstock. Next I used on of the Label Stacklets 6 dies to cut the rounded rectangles out of paper from the Gingerbread Lane paper pack. I then cut the stitched frame out of Sugar Cube, Cherry Pop and Granny Smith cardstock. I layered that with the inner frame cut from the same three colors. The sentiment is from Small Packages and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I added a bit of Stickles on each to make the 25 pop just a bit. I then added a hemp twine bow to each tag and I was done. I’m holding off on adding string to tie to packages until I’m ready to use these – I never seem to make them the right length, lol.

My second project uses You’ve Got Mail – Fall illustrated by Danielle Lounds. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these fun little mailbox stamps. I hope there will be more to come! They are adorable and I can see using them for all sorts of cards. 🙂

For this card I started by stamping the image on Sugar Cube cardstock and coloring it with Copic Markers. I then die cut it with Label Stacklets 6 and matted it with Chocolate Truffle cardstock also cut with Label Stacklets 6. I then embossed Pumpkin cardstock with the Scattered Leaves embossing folder. I layered this with a bit of paper from the Kraft in Color Kraft paper pad. The leaves cluster is  cut using the Mini Leaves dies and the Stiched with Love button. The little banner is from Banner Stacklets 1.
