Alright, are you ready for the big RELEASE day!!! Petite-a-Palooza is the perfect time to take the plunge and try some TE stamps if you haven’t yet.  We have something for everyone.  And if you’re already a TE fan, you’ll love all the fun choices this month!

I have TWO projects for you today! My first project uses the adorable Polar Pete, Illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink line. I started with a 5.25×5.25″ card base of brown cardstock and stamped Pete on to Choice Snow White cardstock (which I LOVE by the way… it’s amazing to color on with Copics) using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with Copics. I die cut the image using a Spellbinders Circle die and then bordered that with a Spellbinders Scalloped border die using blue green cardstock. The designer paper is from Echo Park’s Holly Jolly Christmas paper pad.  I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock that was die cut using the Totally Tags Dies and then I layered it with a Spellbinders circle and a snowflake punch. I added Stardust Stickles here and there around the water and in the scallops of the circle.

For my second card I used Your Ways, illustrated by new designer Emily Burger for the Lasting Impressions line. I started with a 5.25×5.25 black cardbase with a scalloped border bottom that was die cut using the Medium Scalloped Border die. I stamped the flower and sentiment from this set on Choice Snow White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut the sentiment using the Take Note 3 die and sponged it with Ranger Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy. I hand cut the flower and sponged it as well. for the panel behind the sentiment I die cut paper from My Mind’s Eye’s Lost and Found 2 Rosy paper pad using Spellbinders Label 18. I added a bit of hand died seam binding and twine thread to make a bow. To finish the card I distressed a few of the layers and added a couple of black rhinestones from Want 2 Scrap.

That’s it for me today! I hope you enjoyed the release and please hop around and check out the rest of the project from the fantastic Baker’s Dozen!
