Taylored Expressions: Wonderful World and Initially Numbers
Hi everyone! Welcome to day 3 of Taylored Expressions sneak peeks for April! Tomorrow is release day, so everything we have been sharing the last couple of days will be available at 9 am CST.
Today I’m sharing a new sentiment stamp set, Wonderful World, that is perfect for graduation and pairs wonderfully with a couple of previously released products. To start my card I stamped out the globe from The World Is Waiting and colored it with Copics. I hand cut the globe and set it aside to start sponging the background behind the globe. I masked off the bottom portion of a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with a piece of Post It Tape and sponged Salt Water Taffy ink on the top half creating a gradient.
On the right side of the card I die cut the Notepaper Border from Oreo cardstock and tucked it under the sponged background. I cut a stop of Salt Water Taffy cardstock and embossed it with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder and tucked it under the Notepaper border. For the sentiment banner I stamped the sentiment on Oreo with Versamark and embossed it in white. I used Banner Stacklets 1 to cut it out – I needed to extend the length of the banner to fit the sentiment so lined up the die and carefully cut through half of it, then I removed the die and repositioned it make the banner longer and finished the cut from the other side (again only cutting half way across).
To finish up I added three Cherry Pop Heart Enamel Shapes and I was done!

My second project uses Initially Numbers – a new addition to our Initially line of dies. I REALLY like these!! I had a lot of fun making a 16th birthday card for my niece and I have a gift package design for tomorrow!
I started this by die cutting the numbers from Oreo cardstock. I used Sweet Script for the word Sweet and I die cut it from Sugar Cube cardstock with a piece of Stick It attached to the top. Once this was die cut I removed the adhesive covering and applied microfine silver glitter to the entire die (messy but worth it for all that sparkle)!! I attached this to a piece of vellum and carefully attached some Kool Tak clear foam strategically so I could pop up the vellum over the numbers.
The balloons were made using the Big Bold Balloons dies and the rainbow stripe paper is from TE’s 6×6 Paper Pack – Rainbow Brights. To finish off I added little shine marks to the balloons with a white gel pen.
