TBD 6 – Sweeney Todd
It’s Burtonesque Dolls time again! Today we have a fun one for you! Final Cut…And Shave Create a card/project inspired by Sweeney Todd and using decorative scissors or paper distressing tools (e.g. Tim Holtz craft scratcher or distressing tool)! Not too hard huh?
This week we have a FABULOUS sponsor! Simply Betty Stamps is giving one lucky participant two rubber stamps from the My Kids Emo World line of stamps, Miller and Betty.
For my card this week I use London from the Simply Betty, My Kid’s Emo World line and colored her with Copics. I used lots of red to throw back to the gory mess that Sweeney Todd is. I made the red background paper with two Unity KOM stamps as well as Marshmallow Glimmer Mist and a Tim Holtz distressing tool.
For my layout I started with this week’s Mojo Monday sketch, though I did flip it:
I added a bit of sparkle with swirls of rhinestones and created the center of the flower with Kaiser Rhinestones. I outlined London’s hair with a Sakura Stardust pen.
Here’s a shot of the sparkle all over the card. 😀
Be sure to hop around and see the other fantastic cards of the other design team members!
