TE February Sneak Peeks: Faith in Bloom & My Redeemer Lives

God is Faithful by Jen Shults

Hi everyone! Today is day 2 of Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks! We have a bunch of super fun spring and Easter products to share with you this week! We will be sharing sneak peeks Monday, today and Wednesday and release day will be Thursday, February 9 at 9 am PST.

My first project features a previously released product that has a new die set to go with it! Faith in Bloom now has a companion die set! I just LOVE those stamp set – it’s one of my all time favorites and I’m so happy to see it with dies now. 🙂 I made a fairly clean and simple card for this one. I started by stamping the flowers on Sugar Cube and coloring them with Copic markers and then die cutting with the coordinating die.

I set the colored flowers aside and began working on the background. I cut an A2 cardbase from Sugar Cube and added Doodlebug Beetle Black Swiss Dot washi tape to the left side. Then I cut another piece of Sugar Cube that was a little narrower than an A2 cardfront and sponged the top middle with Granny Smith and Sprinkles ink. I stamped the sentiment in Oreo ink to the lower left of the sponged area and attached the flowers next to it using foam tape. To finish I added a couple of TE’s new Enamel Shapes in Cookie Monster and attached this to the cardbase letting the washi tape show on the left.

My second card for today uses three new TE products: My Redeemer Lives stamps, My Redeemer Lives dies and the Ornate Frame Cutting Plate.

To start my card I cut a vertical A2 cardbase from Lavender Glaze cardstock. I used the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklet to cut out a hole in the card front and I lined it with vellum on the inside. I cut the Ornate Frame Cutting Plate from silver cardstock and adhered it over the opening and vellum on the outside of the card. I used a violet Copic marker to color the outside parts of the frame on the backside of the vellum. Next I stamped the large cross from My Redeemer Lives on Sugar Cube using Oreo ink and colored it with Copics. I die cut it with the coordinating My Redeemer Lives dies. I attached this to the center of the cutting plate on the vellum with foam tape. Next I added clear Wink of Stella over the cross.

For the sentiment area I stamped the sentiment onto vellum using Veramark and embossed it in white. I die cut this with Stitched Banner Stacklets and added a few flower cut from Plum Punch using Mini Bloomers and Bloomers Greenery.
