TE Share Joy Challenge 1!!!

I am so so so excited today has finally arrived! It’s the first Share Joy Challenge and I can’t wait to get started!!!!

Thanks by Jen Shults for Share Joy Challenge 1 by Taylored Expressions

My card for today’s challenge uses BOTH of the challenge components, the color challenge and the sketch (both are shown below).

My card started with the sketch and as soon as I started working with it I knew I wanted to use one of the large word die cuts to fill the sentiment portion of the sketch. The rest just came together after that! I used the new Block Party Thanks Die for the sentiment and the new Bloomers 3, Bloomers Greenery and Mini Bloomers dies to create the flowers. 🙂 The panel behind the flowers was cut with Label Stacklets 6 and sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create a gradient across the panel. I am just loving that technique right now and can’t stop using it!! The bit of patterned paper is from Build a Scene 6×6 Paper Pack. I added a small twine bow and a few white gel pen dots here and there to finish every thing off!
