TE Sneak Peeks: Another Year Older

Another Year Older by Jen Shults

Hi everyone! Today is day 3 of Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks! We have a bunch of super fun spring and Easter products to share with you this week! We will be sharing sneak peeks Monday, Tuesday and today and release day will be Thursday, February 9 at 9 am PST.

My first card today features a brand new set of Grumplings – Spring Grumplings. These adorably little Grumpy guys are not happy about well… pretty much anything. To start my card I stamped the little Grumpling on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and colored him with Copic Markers.

Next I die cut Build a Tag 2 from Sugar Cube and sponged it with Sprinkles ink so it faded out about half way up the tag. I then die cut the Wispy Grass Border die from Granny Smith cardstock and cut it in half so I had two pieces to layer for the grass. I added two clouds cut from Stitched Cloud Duo and Sugar Cube cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the upper right of the tag and assembled everything with foam tape. I cut a pieces of yellow dot paper from 6×6 Paper Pack – Build a Scene and attached it to a piece of Salt Water Taffy on a Toffee Cardbase. I attached the tag to the card with foam tape.

My second card for today features a new addition to the Peek-a-Boo line Peek-a-Boo Easter. To start my card I cut a piece of Poppy Seed cardstock to make a cardbase. Then I stamped the little lamb from Peek-a-Boo Easter on Sugar Cube cardstock using Oreo ink three times and colored them with Copic Markers.

I die cut them with Peek-a-Boo Easter dies and set them aside. To make the rest of the card I die cut Peek-a-Boo Circles from Strawberry Milkshake and trimmed it down and matted it with Lavender Glaze cardstock and Jelly Donut dots paper from 6×6 Paper Pack – Rainbow Brights. I tucked the little lamb die cuts in the circles from Peek-a-Boo circles. I stamped the sentiment on TE Vellum with Versamark and heat embossed it in white. I then die cut the sentiment with Banner Stacklets 4 and tucked it behind the bottom lamb.
