Verve February Diva Inspirations Hop

Welcome to Verve’s February Diva Inspirations Hop. It’s the 5th of the month and that means it’s hopping time! This month we’ve got a bloomin‘ good challenge for you along with our usual inspiration! So in addition to a comment prize hidden along the hop, you can play along with the challenge and link up your creation for a chance to win another prize!

Our theme this month is flowers along with the inspiration graphic below so here’s my take on it!

Feb14DivaInspirationHop

Our February challenge is Floral Fantasy:

February is the month of love and flowers are a popular gift so add some petal power to your cards this month!

This is such a fun challenge and so perfect for Verve because Julee always designs the best flowers! Right away I had an idea of what I wanted to do and I’m so happy with how it came out. I love these flowers from Lean On Me and they were perfect to match up with the U from the I Heart U die set. I pulled the pink from the inspiration photo along with the slightly dotted texture in the background and made the rest my own. 🙂

FebVerveInspHop-Jen2Here are all the details on this card:

Stamps: Lean On Me (Verve), You and I (Verve)
Dies: Banner Bundle Die Set (Verve), I Heart U die set (Verve), Pointed Flowers Die Set (Verve), Dreamy Leaves Die Set (Verve)
Paper: Kraft (MFT), Gray (Bazzill), Love Me (MME)
Accessories: Twine thread, heat gun, white embossing powder (Ranger), foam tape, 3M Quick Dry Adhesive
