Welcome to our May 2014 Spotlight Hops! We’re so excited to share some new Verve with you! The Divas will be spotlighting 3 new sets, 3 plain janes and a couple dies each day through Friday, so keep your eyes peeled for some fresh Verve inspiration. Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Friday, 5/23, that’s today!!!
Today I have a quick birthday card using Wonderful Marvelous and Button Best. I started with a kraft cardbase and over-layed that with a mat of white and steel gray embossed with a chevron embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts. I stamped the banners from Wonderful Marvelous on blue cardstock with coordinating ink to create a bit of a festive background. Next I die cut two Sweet Scalloped Tags and stamped the yellow one with Happy from Wonderful Marvelous in coordinating ink. The birthday banner is die cut with the Flag It dies. I added to cute little flowers die cut out of white using the Wings and Petals dies and then I stamped the middles with buttons from Button Best in the same yellow and blue ink. I added leaves die cut using the Dreamy Leaves dies and a couple of coordinating Doodlebug Sprinkles and I was done! I LOVE how fun and cute it all turned out and I’m so happy with the color scheme!
